Electronic Health Record Clinical Applications Coordinator (CAC) Training

The role of the Clinical Applications Coordinator (CAC) is central to the success of Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation and optimization. CACs serve as the bridge between clinical staff and technical teams, ensuring that the EHR system supports safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This training is designed to provide new and experienced CACs with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to manage clinical applications, support end-users, and drive continuous improvement in healthcare delivery. By the end of this program, participants will be equipped to lead EHR initiatives that enhance clinical workflows, improve documentation accuracy, and strengthen compliance with healthcare standards.
When: May 5-7, 2026, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Central each day

Travel stipends: A limited number of stipends will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may request a travel stipend through the registration page. Once registration is submitted, a USET staff member will be in contact to provide you with additional details.

- Gain strategies for troubleshooting, training, and supporting end-users effectively.
- Promote Quality Improvement and Compliance
- Apply EHR tools to improve documentation accuracy and patient safety.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, coding standards, and organizational policies.
