Office of Violence Against Women Free Conference on Indigenous Sex Trafficking: In partnership with Tribal organizations, the Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women is hosting the “2023 Strengthening Sovereign Responses to Sex Trafficking in Indian Country and Alaska” on January 24˗26 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The free conference will feature plenary sessions and targeted workshops around the crisis that seek to inform and empower in combating sex trafficking in Tribal communities.
