The USDA Forest Service, Southern Region Forest Health Protection program is receiving Infrastructure project funding in FY2025. Funding will be divided between tribal projects and state projects, depending on requests and available funding. There is up to $800,000 available for work regionally on Tribal Lands this year. Requests are due by COB July 3rd to Anna Grossman, anna.grossman@usda.gov.

Your project should fit into one or more of the following FY2025 Regional Priorities:

  1. Invasive Plant Council support (supporting new or existing Councils)
  2. Invasive species outreach and education program
  3. Invasive plant control projects affecting forestlands
  4. Utilizing remote sensing and drone technology for invasive species detection and treatment
